George Washington Eveleth












(Born: February 20, 1819 - Died: September 29, 1908)

Born in Maine.

Died in Denver, CO, and is buried there, in Riverside Cemetery. He was married to Rosannah Davies, or Davis. She died in 1898.

Eveleth corresponded with George Edward Woodberry in 1883-1885, as Woodberry was preparing his biography of Poe.
