Rufus Wilmot Griswold

(Born: February 15, 1815 - Died: August 27, 1857)

This engraving of Griswold was published in 1855, a few years before his death from tuberculosis. It is based on a portrait painted by  Miner Kilbourne Kellogg (1814-1889).
