Lucian Minor

Lucian Minor

(Born: April 24, 1802 - Died: July 8, 1858)

He is buried in the cemetery of the College of William and Mary. (The dates for his birth and death are taken from the marker over his grave.) His parents were Launcelot Minor and Mary Overton Thompkins. He was a professor of law at William and Mary, 1855 until the time of his death. He married Levinia Callis Price on May 4, 1846. (She was born on Nov. 17, 1822.) Among their children are two sons: Lucian (later of Galveston, TX) and Farrell Dabney, and at two daughters, Clara Morris and Eliza Winston.
