Unidentified, except that Reinman and Walker were representatives of the Philosophian Society of Wittenburg University in Springfield, OH. According to William H. Browne, one of these gentleman was the corresponding secretary for the organization. Wittenburg University was founded about 1845, primarily to train Lutheran ministers. The Philosophian Society at Wittenburg was founded in 1847. Walker may be the Rev. John H. Walker, born in Ohio about 1824, who married Rachel Walker about 1847.
