Burton's Gentleman's Magazine (Philadelphia, PA)






Burton's Gentleman's Magazine was founded by William Evans Burton, an actor and comedian. After three years, he sold the magazine to George Rex Graham, who merged it with the Casket to form Graham's Magazine. The finals issues of both of these magazines are identical.
