(Born: December 19, 1777 - Died: March 2, 1856)

American lawyer. He practiced in New York City in 1842. He married Helen Kortright Brasher on May 16, 1808, and they had one son, Benjamin Davis Craig. (This information is in Joseph Alfred Scoville, Old Merchants of New York City, 1885, p. 33.) Among his last trials was to assist with the defense of Nicholas Behan, who was convicted of murder in 1854.
