(Born: January 3, 1817 - Died: September 3, 1903)

Albert S. Cummings was born in Mifflinburg, PA on January 3, 1817. He attended the Pennsylvania College at Gettysburg (now Gettysburg College) in 1838-1840, where he was the Corresponding Secretary for the Philomathaean Society. He later became a doctor. He moved from Middlebury, PA to Lewistown about 1848, and to Sunbury about 1862, and ultimately to Selinsgrove, where he continued his practice until 1872. He married Louisa E. Richter (1831-1911) on February 20, 1849. After 1872, he returned to Sunbury, where he died on September 3, 1903.
