This engraving faces page 275, which carries Poe's text. The picture measures 4 inches wide by 5 3/4 inches high. The caption, in a very florid font, reads “Byron & Miss Chaworth,” then on the next line in much smaller letters, “Engraved Expressly for the Columbian Magazine.” The Artist and engraver are given, respectively, as “H. Richter” and “C. Parker Sc.”
