☞ The New York Broadway Journal, edited by Edgar A. Poe, is dead already. This, we believe, is about the tenth periodical that has died under Poe's hands during the last four or five years. Whenever a new paper makes its appearance, with the name of Poe as editor, the public, as responsive as an echo, exclaims “poh!”
