[page 2, column 4, continued:]

Graham's Lady's and Gentleman's Magazine, for April, has been received. It fully sustains, if it does not exceed the former numbers, for the originality and interest of its contents. It is embellished with a Mezzotinto Engraving on steel — three pages of Music, and four figures of Fashions, beautifully collored [[colored]]. EDGAR A. POE, has become Associate editor, Mr. Poe is well known in the literary world, as one of the best American writers and his judgement as a critic is not surpased [[surpassed]] by any gentleman in the U. States. Specimen numbers may be seen at Book Store, and we shall be happy to forward the names (and money) of as many of our friends, as are disposed to patronize out of the character of the Magazine.
